About Ostium
Ostium is a self-custodial perpetual venue on Arbitrum founded in 2022 by Harvard classmates Kaledora Kiernan-Linn (CEO, ex-Bridgewater quant and former Royal Danish Ballet dancer) and Marco Antonio Ribeiro (CTO, former Olympiad medalist). It provides perpetual exposure to stocks, commodities, FX, and indices with up to 200× leverage, using a quote-based RFQ pricing model that draws from off-chain liquidity venues rather than recreating fragmented on-chain order books. Pricing is sourced via Stork Network with QUODD institutional data; all positions are margined and cash-settled in USDC. Over 95% of open interest is concentrated in non-crypto RWAs (gold, silver, oil, S&P 500, Nasdaq, EUR/USD, JPY/USD, Tesla, Apple, Coinbase). Ostium has raised $24M total, including a $20M Series A led by General Catalyst and Jump Crypto in December 2025.
